Privacy Policy

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no first-party cookies, runs no analytics and asks you for nothing. This page says what that means and names the third parties that are involved at all.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment form and no tracking script on these pages. We do not know who you are, we do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing about you to sell, lose or hand over.

Server logs

Our host records the standard web-server log for every request — the IP address, the time, the page and the user agent — as every web server does. Those logs are used for security and for keeping the site up, are not linked to anything else, and are not shared.

Cookies

This site sets none of its own. Your browser may store nothing at all from these pages unless you press the map button below, which is described next.

The three third parties, and when each one is involved

Viator. Every booking link on this site goes to Viator, which sells and services the booking. The link carries a partner code so the sale can be attributed to us. Once you follow it you are on Viator's site and Viator's own privacy policy applies to everything that happens there, including any cookie it sets.

Google Maps. The map on the contact page is not loaded until you press "Show the map". Nothing is requested from Google, and no Google cookie can be set, unless and until you press it. That is why the map is a button rather than an embed.

Our host and the search consoles. The site is verified with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which report aggregate search data about the site. Neither identifies individual visitors to us.

Children

This site is written for adults planning a trip. It is not directed at children and it collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or comparable law gives you a right of access, correction or erasure, it applies to personal data a site holds. We hold none beyond the server logs described above. If you want to ask about them, write to our contact page.

Changes to this page

If this site ever adds analytics, a form or an embedded element that loads on sight, this page will say so before that happens, and the date at the top of the page will move. Nothing here changes quietly.
